Volunteer

Volunteers are the lifeblood of Interfaith Dental Clinic. During the 2006-2007 fiscal year, Interfaith recorded more than 4,154 volunteer hours worth $372,754

Since the clinic’s start, more than 275 dental professionals have volunteered to provide dental care for the clinic’s patients. The clinic boasts a list of some ofthe best dentists, hygienists, and specialists in the Nashville area.

The Interfaith Dental Clinic depends on the involvement of the community.  Here are some ways you can help our program meet the needs of our patients:

•   Give! Invest in a local family by making a donation to the clinic.  Call Amy Dyer, Development Director 615-234-0365 to make a donation today.  Proper dental care improves a person’s health, self-esteem, and employability.

•   Volunteer. Call 615-329-4790 to find out about volunteer opportunities.

•   Attend the agency’s annual fundraising Gala in the spring.

•   Bleach your teeth for charity by participating in the clinic’s annual Do the Bright Thing fundraiser in September.

•   Ask your dentist if he or she volunteers at the Interfaith Dental Clinic.

•   Ask you company if they support local nonprofits and tell them about Interfaith.

•   Ask your church or synagogue if they have an outreach budget and ask if Interfaith is on their giving list.
