Mary’s Story
Mary Cannon’s teeth have been in disarray for most of her adult life.
She has spent many years avoiding activities that are a part of most people’s
everyday routine. She stopped going out to restaurants because she couldn’t
chew properly and frequently covered her mouth.
Through a friend, Mary and her daughter Rose learned about the services of the
Interfaith Dental Clinic and scheduled an appointment.
It was discovered that Mary was a candidate for numerous extractions and a full set of dentures.
Mary and Rose committed to the improvement, arranged a payment plan with the clinic and the long awaited transformation began.
Mary says her experience has been “Splendid, everyone has been kind and generous from day
one.” Mary’s involvement with Interfaith has completely changed her outlook.
She is “excited beyond words” with her new smile, something she has waited many years for.
Mary’s family and friends have been behind her every step of the way.
When her granddaughter saw her for the first time she ran to her
and exclaimed “Granny, they are so pretty!”, a thrilling moment for Mary!
“Everyone in my apartment complex has asked to see”, says Mary, “I love
my teeth, to smile and eat is now a joy!”
“ I can smile again, I have missed smiling!”
